Meet Me, Madison.
I specialize in developmental and line-level clarity editing.
My Approach
Collaborative
I believe in the power of collaboration to create exceptional and unique works. As your personal editor, I work closely with you to develop a work that not only clarifies your vision but exceeds your expectations.
Iterative
I take an iterative approach in my work to ensure the final result aligns with your creative vision and reflects your personal voice. We’ll work together to refine and fine-tune your work’s cohesiveness, leaving no detail overlooked.

What Clients are Saying
“Working with Madison Randolph was a wonderful experience. She was attentive, professional, and helped improve the manuscript significantly. She pointed out things that others had completely missed, and thanks to her feedback, my manuscript became much more coherent and polished. I highly recommend her.”
Andriana Lorgulescu
“I have worked with Madison Randolph on three separate projects. She has provided exceptional and timely feedback. Her detailed explanations have helped me improve as a writer and her grasp of the big picture has helped me hone important details. I would highly recommend Ms. Randolp’s editing services. She is a joy to work with. ”

-
Pricing is fixed at $0.02 per word. 20% of the payment is required before services are rendered. The other 80% is accepted at the end of the editing process to receive the final Word document with all edits and comments.

I prefer to work on documents via Microsoft Word. Upon my first read through, I will write my initial thoughts inline using blue type to differentiate between my notes and your writing. Then, for my second read through, I will write my thoughts in comments. At the end of each chapter, you’ll find my overall thoughts and then I will conclude with a comprehensive overview.
-
Not only do I edit short stories, flash fictions, novellas, and novels, I also edit high school and college essays.
-
While I believe I am a good fit for many genres of writing, there are a few items I don’t believe I can give adequate edits. I prefer not to read extreme horror and / or splatterpunk or erotica and / or sexually explicit scenes.
